Prof. Israr lauds Nigerian Lebanese International Hospital for providing quality services

The President of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr on Wednesday, 7th June, 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Lebanese Hospital, (NLH) located at No. 2 Police Barracks, Bompai, Kano.

Prof. Israr was on arrival, received by the Hospital’s Managing Director, Engr. Abbas Hajaig, Director of the Laboratory, Mr. Ali Assi, Head of Radiology, Mr. Anurag Shrivastava as well as other Management staff of the hospital.

Other staff members who accompanied Prof. Israr and conducted round the facility during the visit include Vice President Campus Life, Dr. Hamza Garba and Medical Laboratory Scientist, Dr. Adamu Kabiru.

Speaking during the visit, Prof. Israr expressed satisfaction with the level of seriousness and commitment of the Hospital to providing first-class Health Care services, which he said, would ensure effective diagnosis and treatment of patients.

He noted that with the state-of-the-art medical equipment put in place in the facility, MAAUN students would stand to benefit a great deal should there be a partnership between the Hospital and the University, especially in areas of clinical research.

Prof. Israr, who lauded the Management of NLH for the warm reception accorded them, urged the hospital management to continue to maintain the standard in providing quality health care services in the state.

In a remark, the Managing Director, Engr. Abbas Hajaig, expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a singular honor done to the hospital.

He said the hospital was ready to partner with MAAUN for the benefit of both students and the hospital.
